Kinsey has been a member of the ADC Fraternity since 1978 which jump started his community service career and it has carried on since then. It continues today in the Pacific and throughout Oceania. He served as ADC’s eighth president from Summer 1980 to Spring 1981.
Current Community Impact: Kinsey is retired Army where he served as a Medical Service Corp Officer. He is an active member of Pearl City Elks where he serves as one of its Board of Trustee members. The Elks invest in the communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, meet the needs of today’s veterans, and improve quality of life. In an effort to support children living in Oceania Island countries and students seeking to make the United States military a career option, Kinsey has teamed up with the United States Army Pacific , the University of Hawaii and Ministries of Health to developed a health and fitness program called “Camp to the Future”. The Focus is on nutrition, physical activity, mentorship, leadership and, healthy life styles.
Goals: The intent is to train future leaders to encourage their peers to participate in
future health education camps and trainings, so they begin to mentor younger students.
In doing so prevent future cases of non-communicable diseases through education,
exercise and nutrition.
