Ted has been a member of the ADC Fraternity since the fall of 1978. He served as ADC’s ninth president from Spring 1981 to ?. His community service started at the age of 12 as being a mentor and assisting younger kids. Ted assisted in giving pointers through sports as well to the likes of Hall of Famer and Cy Young Award winner Dwight Gooden, his nephew, Gary Sheffield and Floyd Yeoman. All became professional baseball players. Ted also coached 3 professional football players and a host of college players starting them ages 5 and up and have watched them flourish in life.
Current Community Impact: Provides mentorship and coaching to youth starting at the age of 3 through education and sports such as football, baseball and basketball.
Goal: Primarily stressing the importance of education; being a Team Player in life, leadership, and most importantly, being a respectable good human being.
