Abe has been a member of the ADC Fraternity since 1974. He served as ADC’s tenth president from 2017 to 2019. He started his community career service in the Charleston Community and surrounding areas by volunteering to support the Jenkins Orphanage, Coastal Center, Family Court Charleston as Juvenile Deputies Authorities, and supported the fraternity Big Brother Program. He currently volunteers with several organizations to support Veterans and community development.
Current Community Impact: Leads the Scott Mentorship Golf Tournament Group charity fund raising events to financially support non-profit organizations (Wounded Warrior Project, Fairways For Warriors, Friends Mentoring Program, Flat Rock Community Foundation, Great Oak Youth Development Centers, Lead Block Foundation, and The Eden Project). Has participated in the Friends Mentoring program as a mentor. Volunteered with the Eden Project during concert event. Served as a motivational presenter for the Martin L King, Jr. Middle School, Atlanta GA, College and Career Motivation Guest Speaker program.
Goal: Support communities to develop formal organizational structures to develop our community greatest resources, people, improving community and individual economic development; focusing on sustaining and increasing community improvements.
