Danny has been a member of the ADC Fraternity since 1975 and started his life-time career of serving others by volunteering as a big brother and working with the staff and clients at Jenkins Orphanage. He currently volunteers as a chaplain for several organizations and as a pastor for a local church in North Charleston, SC.
Current Community Impact: serve as the CEO/Senior Chaplain
for Berkeley Crisis Chaplaincy, non-profit organization that provides pastoral care to police, fire and EMS personnel and their family; assist the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office with death notifications. Serve as the chaplain for Berkeley Fraternal Order of Police lodge #19, a non-profit organization that support the well-being of law enforcement officers; serve on the Old Ashley Baptist Assocation Executive Board and serve as secretary for 30 churches in District 1 of the Association.
Goal: Support communities to create an atomphere of harmony and a sense of peace when there is a crisis by providing pastoral care.
